The 2012 hoax is more like FANTASY, and SUPERSTITION than SCIENCE!



Do you really believe that the 30,000+ amateur astronomers in the USA, and the hundreds of professional astronomers, would have just MISSED seeing Planet X! No where on the internet can you find the sky coordinates of Planet X.



No Near Earth Objects are on a collision course with Earth right now for 2012, and a pole shift will occur in maybe another 10,000 years. Also, the Earth and the sun line-up on the center of the Galaxy EVERY YEAR on December 21st! We are about 6 degrees away from the center and moving further away!



No black hole is nearby to swallow the Earth or somehow (against all of Kepler's planetary motion laws), move it off it's orbit, and a solar flare will NOT burn up the Earth; and on and on with many more impossible astronomical events.



Every web site promoting the 2012 hoax is doing so for either FUN or MONEY! (although I don't think it's very funny to scare kids or the uneducated). So please forget about this 2012 nonsense.

As for the Mayans, they believed that the Earth was flat and had 4 corners. They also believed the sky was held up by 5 trees each a different color, and the Earth was resting on the back of a gigantic crocodile floating on a pond of water lilies! and of course, they worshiped the SUN god!



Does this give you any confidence that they knew ANYTHING about the Earth or the real universe around them!

<div class="content">The Mayan Calendar makes NO doomsday CLAIMS because 2012 is merely the end of a cycle. We are currently approaching the end of the 4th Mayan cycle. That means that Doomsday has happened THREE times before. For the ancient Maya it was a huge celebration to make it to the end of a whole cycle. To render December 21, 2012, as a doomsday or moment of cosmic shifting is a complete fabrication- and a chance for a lot of people to cash in.



People who promote 2012 are doing so to sell books and advertising on their doomsday shows. After each "predicted" doomsday passes with nothing happening there is a new one invented. I have watched the 2012 Doomsday program on the History (Hysteria) Channel. The content isn’t about any real 2012 event happening and it isn’t about history. It is about selling books and selling advertising on the TV programs.



There is no scientific theory that anything unusual is going to happen in 2012. ZERO scientists believe that anything out of the ordinary will happen in 2012. It is all total CRAP. These people are interested in one thing - MONEY. And by listening to their programs and/or buying their books you provide them with - MONEY. The more MONEY they make the more twists and turns they invent to make it more interesting so you will listen to new TV programs so they can make even MORE MONEY.



If you had hogwash to sell wouldn’t you try and package it so looked like prime rib? That is just what these shysters are doing… selling to those who will listen – HOGWASH. Drink deep!!! They need MORE MONEY. They need YOUR MONEY.

<div class="content">It's basically a trick to get you to go to see the "2012" movie. If they actually take your money it will be criminal fraud, they know that. However they can take your money and give you movie ticket or some trashy toy based on the movie. IHC belongs to Sony Pictures.



The 2012 prophecies are garbage from start to finish, and so is the movie according to advance reviews.</div>

And no, just because someone made a movie about it doesn't mean it is actually going to happen!!! I mean- Cloverfield is a movie right?



Even though there is no way of knowing for sure, the world will more than likely not end on Dec. 21, 2012! I am like 90% sure :P



I really don't know why people get so pissed whenever someoe mentions that! I do not know one person who truely believes it will happen! Otherwise they would just quit their job/school, since they have no future and just start living :D



Cuz if I honestly knew and believed the world was going to end in 3 years, I would not wake up at 6:30 everyday to go to school!!!</div>
